The Wine Shootout Team expands their reach, Wine Radius joins Affairs of the Vine and International Wine Review.

An incredible array of palates will gather to assess the best Pinots from all over the world at the 7th Annual Pinot Noir Shootout finals on January 19, 2009.

PINOT NOIR SHOOTOUT FINALS

Defining Pinot Noir Styles
The best and most comprehensive Pinot Noir tasting in the world, this year's Pinot Noir Shootout will again explore and assess different styles of Pinot Noir. We will denote the descriptors and scores of the panelists and we will describe the wines as experienced by the female and male panelists in an attempt to discover whether women and men prefer different wine styles.

Affairs of the Vine and Wine Radius will conduct The Pinot Noir Shootout prelims throughout October, November and December of 2008. International Wine Review, Pinot Report and The Prince of Pinot will join the judging panels.

Articles featuring The Pinot Noir Shootout wines will appear in numerous wine publications.

The finalists will be showcased at The Pinot Noir Summit on Febraury 7, 2009 in San Francisco, California. This event attracts Pinot Noir lovers from the consumer, media and trade segments.

The comments and reactions to the wines will be accessible on the Affairs of the Vine website and will be posted by mid-March, following the Pinot Noir Summit.

Wine Radius will create special offerings of the winning Pinot Noirs for their customers.
Vintners wishing to partake in this event should submit four bottles of each entry by November 14, 2008.

If we receive your wines before October 14, 2008, we will include a free link to your website with the description of each of your wines.

The fee for each wine entry is $60.00.

Click here to Register online and save $10 per entry.

Please provide the information requested on the submission form for each wine submitted. It will be helpful if you will include a spec sheet when you send your wine.

Please forward this email to any Pinot Noir producers, importers or marketing companies that should be included in this tasting by using the "forward to a friend" link at the bottom of this page.

Thank You.
